The final round of the CONCACAF World Cup Qualifiers is all set! The big draw happened in Miami, Florida, where 12 countries from North and Central America and the Caribbean found out who they’ll play next. These teams are just a few steps away from playing in the biggest soccer event in the world — the FIFA World Cup!
This round features three groups with four teams each. The teams were picked after finishing in the top two of their second-round groups. Now, they will battle each other home and away in September, October, and November. Only the winner of each group will automatically qualify for the 2026 World Cup, which is being hosted by Canada, the United States, and Mexico. The two best second-place teams will go to the intercontinental playoffs in March for a final chance to qualify.

CONCACAF
Group A: Panama, El Salvador, Guatemala, Suriname
This group has three Central American neighbors — Panama, El Salvador, and Guatemala — along with Suriname from South America, who plays in the CONCACAF region.
This will be an exciting group because several of these teams know each other well. In the last qualifying round, El Salvador and Suriname played out a 1–1 draw (BTTS: ✅). This shows that their next match could be just as tight and exciting. Fans can expect goals, too — in their last three head-to-head matches, two games ended with Over 2.5 Goals.
Panama vs El Salvador is another matchup with history. These two countries also met in the final round during the 2022 qualifiers. Back then, Panama won 3–1 at home and drew 2–2 away (Over 2.5 Goals: ✅ in both). With players like Ismael Díaz and Cecilio Waterman in form for Panama, they’ll be favorites again.
Guatemala comes in with a strong defensive record but will face tough opponents. They haven’t reached the World Cup before, but they are improving. Their matches against El Salvador are often tense and low-scoring — their last four games have gone Under 2.5 Goals.
Suriname is the wild card in this group. They’ve reached the final round for the first time ever and are known for scoring and conceding goals in wild games. Their last four matches have seen Over 2.5 Goals three times and BTTS in all four!

CONCACAF
Group B: Jamaica, Curacao, Trinidad and Tobago, Bermuda
This group is full of Caribbean flavor! Jamaica leads the way, having been to the World Cup once in 1998. The Reggae Boyz will be feeling confident, especially with players like Michail Antonio and Leon Bailey in their squad.
Jamaica’s matches tend to see goals. In the last six games, four have ended with Over 2.5 Goals and three had BTTS. They will open against Trinidad and Tobago, a fellow Caribbean giant. Their last clash ended 1–1 in the Gold Cup qualifiers (BTTS: ✅). Historically, these games are full of drama — in their last 10 meetings, six ended with BTTS.
Trinidad and Tobago — also known as the Soca Warriors — famously made the World Cup in 2006. They’re back in the final round and ready to fight. Their defense has been leaky lately, with Over 2.5 Goals happening in five of their last seven games.
Curacao has also reached this stage for the first time, and they are exciting to watch. Their last five games had an average of 3.2 goals per match. BTTS happened in four of those five games.
Bermuda might be seen as underdogs, but they have spirit. They didn’t qualify for the Gold Cup, but that gives them more time to prepare. In the qualifiers so far, they have scored in all four games, even against stronger opponents.
Hot Stat: In Curacao’s last six games, there were at least three goals in five of them. Over 2.5 Goals looks like a solid bet.
CONCACAF
Group C: Costa Rica, Honduras, Nicaragua, Haiti
Group C has some of the biggest stories. Costa Rica is one of the most successful teams in CONCACAF, with six World Cup appearances. Their goalkeeper Keylor Navas is a national hero, though new stars are stepping up.
Costa Rica and Honduras will renew a fierce rivalry. In their last five meetings, Costa Rica won two, drew two, and lost one. Three of those games ended with BTTS, including a thrilling 2–1 win by Costa Rica in 2023.
Honduras has been rebuilding and looked sharp in the last round. They beat Cuba 3–1 and drew 2–2 away (Over 2.5 Goals: ✅ and BTTS: ✅ in both games). Their attack looks lively, with forwards like Romell Quioto stepping up.
Nicaragua is the only team in this group never to make the World Cup. But they shocked many by making it this far. They are tough at home but struggle away. Their last six games saw BTTS just once, so they focus more on defending.
Haiti is a proud team with a deep history. They were the first Caribbean team to ever play in a World Cup, back in 1974! Today, they rely on quick attackers and clever set pieces. Haiti’s recent matches have been unpredictable — their last five games featured three Over 2.5s and two with BTTS.

The final round will take place over the FIFA international windows in September, October, and November 2025. Every team will play their group rivals twice — once at home and once away.
The three group winners will qualify directly for the 2026 World Cup. The two best runners-up across all three groups will enter the intercontinental playoffs in March 2026 for one final shot at joining the world’s biggest football celebration.
